Church Mission Statement

The First Baptist Church of Oakeola exist to glorify God by leading persons to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and introducing them into the family of God.  While being instrumental in helping them to mature in Christ, we are equipping them for ministry and commissioning them for missions throughout the world.   

The First Baptist Church of Oakeola exist to be a place where the hurting, rejected, the downtrodden, and the confused can find unconditional love, help, hope, guidance, and encouragement through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Our ministry's mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the hundreds of thousands of residents within the Delaware County Community and beyond.

It’s our ministry's desire to disciple people to spiritual maturity through worship, bible studies, discipleship classes, conferences and retreats for our members. This ministry will work diligently in equipping every believer for ministry by helping them discover their gifts and resources God gave them.

This ministry will actively participate in sending out missionaries each year on short term mission projects to the uttermost parts of the earth, with a goal of reaching every continent
